Job Summary
Swiis Foster Care are seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager to manage the North West service based in Manchester. The role is full time, permanent with a salary of up to £52,000. per annum including car allowance.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of social workers and placement support workers and have a direct reporting line to the Registered Manager.
You should have a proven track record of working in safeguarding children and young people/child protection, with a focus on excellent outcomes for children and families.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
- 5 years post qualifying experience in working with children and families’ services
- Current HCPC Registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
- Car driver and willingness to travel
