Foster Care Team Leader | Edgbaston
Swiis are looking to recruit a Fostering Team Manager. The Manager is responsible for the supervision and management of a team of Supervising Social Workers. The service is a child-focused fostering service covering the west and east midlands. The office has an Edgbaston base.
This is a Fostering Service rated as “Outstanding” across all areas. The role is full-time, permanent earning up to £45,000 per annum. Additional car allowance paid.
Working within a supportive Management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of social workers who are supported by Family Support Workers, Resource Workers and an Education Advisor. Previous experience working in a fostering service as an experienced SSW or a team manager is desirable. As a minimum, you should have a proven track record of working in safeguarding children and young people/child protection, with a focus on excellent outcomes for children and young people.
Requirements
- CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
- 5 years post qualifying experience in working with children and families services
- Current HCPC Registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK without a work permit or visa restrictions
- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
